A flattering soft focus

So there she was with that camera in my face again - saying that she just wanted to record a little bit of random cuteness, but I decided that I wanted a more soft focus, you know, like certain famous interview journalist women on tv. So I licked the lense - seemed like the right thing to do - and went back to chewing.


As you may have noticed, just a couple of applications of this "Eye Envy" stuff and my tearstains are really going away! I hope they post my "before and after" pictures on their website!!! I'll brag if they do.

String-cam!

Yesterday I visited "Aunt" Kim and "Uncle" Billy - I really liked their house with the slick tile floors I could practically skate on! And they had this bird that freaked out so much about me he fell off his perch! They also had this fun cat toy that I destroyed - I liked it so much that my owner decided to make a "dog" version of it this morning for me out of thin macrame cord she had laying around. She tied a bunch of knots in it and added little knotted pieces of cord at the end - with a small bundle of furry polar fleece - I LOVE that stuff!!!

I'm smarter than your honor student!

Look how I solve this "puzzle" involving my mini-tennis ball and an empty Fresca 12-pack box. This is the first time I have attempted this puzzle and look how fast I am! Is there a doggie version of Mensa out there anyone?

Those folding beeping things....

You people and your silly folding beeping things with the screens, those laptop things you guys are always staring at? Yeah I don't get that - why are you looking at those when the wrappers are SO MUCH MORE FUN. Here let me show you how its done - I mean fun-fur laptop bags were REALLY made to chew on you know:

Monday Multitasking

Monday is always a busy day, so its good to be able to do two things at once, right? I thought so, but then I tried to carry my mini tennis ball and bite on my bed at the same time - it didn't really work so well... but I had fun anyway!

A mystery solved an a confrontation

From Adrienne: For the past few days, Rivet had been sneaking off into the bedroom - and giving one or two what I would call warning barks. I would go in there and find nothing, no weird sounds outside or anything. This morning, she hopped up on the bed, looked directly at the nightstand and barked once. She had been barking at my 2 stuffed animals: a chihuahua and a dachshund.



I wanted her to know that they were fake, so I staged a little introduction:





No fake dogs were harmed in the making of this video, they just got slobbered on a little bit. Hopefully this is the end of barking at fake dogs. If not, its pretty funny when she does it.

Who turned out the lights?????

I was minding my own business this morning when someone put my lounging bed over me - I couldn't see out! So I did what I think most of us would do - I ran around in circles! I discovered that I could get out, but also that I wanted to run around a little more... watch me watch me!!!

Remember to Floss

WOW this tastes SO GOOD. Its all stringy and minty and wow its fun to stick your teeth in it. I had a really good weekend - a picnic on Saturday, and more playtime with my friend Shirley on Sunday - she's gotten even bigger! Now she's 21 lbs - over 5 times my size, but I didn't let that stop me from picking on her a little bit.

2 words for you..... BATH TIME - in three parts.

This is soooo embarrassing... I can't believe I'm putting my bath videos on the internet. As if I didn't look small enough already, when my fur gets wet it just seems to disappear - and you can see my pink skin on my back even! AAAAAA!!!! No wonder I get cold so easily, I have no insulation! This is all much easier to talk about since right now I'm sitting in my owner's lap wrapped in a towel and happily chewing on the desk chair. I mean, I've got to take this out on something. She also mentioned something about cleaning my ears, brushing my teeth, applying my monthly dose of Advantix... will today NEVER end?!?!

Rivet Vs Flank Steak

I know that this is something I want to eat, but its chewy in a weird way - I mean tender and full of flavor, but a really odd texture. I'm not sure what to do with it at first:

This paper tube thing is almost longer than ME - but I can still rip it to shreds - this is as much fun as those expensive frou frou toys everyone keeps giving me... but don't stop, I love those too!!!

My friend Shirley

My best friend is Shirley, she's a 17 pound (enormous if you're me) Beagle/Rat Terrier puppy - also known as a "Raggle". At first I wasn't too sure about her, being that she was so much bigger and louder than I am. But we like each other quite a bit - but we have to be watched carefully because we both tend to forget our size and I can get snooty. You should see the look on her face when I steal a toy - that drives her nuts! Sometimes we both get out of hand and need a time out, though I always seem to get in my crate first:


And sometimes she really can't wait for me to get out and play:


Here's a short clip of us playing tug of war - I think I need to learn some doggie version of judo, I've got to figure out how to use Shirley's weight against her or I'll never win this darn game!!! You may want to turn down the volume before playing this video, my owner sure makes some stupid sounding noises!
